This Yuzen paper is first brush-dyed with soft blue stripes, then delicately hand-stenciled with a same-komon (sharkskin) pattern.
The brushwork extends all the way to the edges of the sheet, leaving no blank areas.
Each sheet is one-of-a-kind, with subtle variations and natural irregularities that enhance its character and charm.
